Samsung has official guidelines that will help those looking to buy the Note 7 recognise the new Note 7’s from those with explosive batteries. Samsung now have a green battery icon as well a black square symbol on the label that holds the phones info such as the IMIE number that is on the side/back of the box.
Samsung have recalled ALL Galaxy Note 7 devices, around the world, due to major battery issues. More than 70 phones have over heated due to the issue, and this is in the US alone.
The phone launched last month after huge hype. Samsung’s note series has a reputation of being one of the best phones on the market. This is a blow for Samsung, one i am sure they would like to forget.
Sony announce the PlayStation Pro. A 4k Gaming machine. The GPU is over twice as fast as the original PlayStation 4 (4.2 teraflop) and with an upgraded Jaguar AMD CPU with 8 cores, this is the most powerful game console out there. It will come with a 1TB storage and priced at £349/$399.
The PS4 Pro will be available November 10th.
Withings have just announced a new smartwatch that includes heart rate monitoring. The Withings Steel HR also includes a digital sub-display that shows your steps, heart rate and mobile notifications. Withings have pulled of a sub-display within its fully circular analogue watch face, with the multi-function button giving the ability to scroll through what is seen.
Even with the addition of the display, 54 days use is still manageable before needing a recharge. The first 25 days will give you continuous heart rate monitoring, your daily average heart rate and your resting heart rate during the night. After the first 25 days, the watch will go into power saving mode, giving you 20 more days with basic functions such as, step count and activity tracking.
The Steel HR comes in both white and black, with the 36mm edition for, $179.95/£169.95 and the 40mm version for $199.95/£179.95.
Asus have announced the ZenWatch 3. The new smartwatch is one of the first to use the new Qualcomm Snapdragon 2100 chipset which is specifically designed for smartwatches (unlike the snapdragon 400 that was being used before). The new processor means that it has a 25% boost in battery efficiency, meaning no need to charge that watch every two nights. Along side this the Asus has HyperCharge technology, enabling a much faster charge time.
This is the first round watch for Asus and it comes with a 1.39-inch OLED display with a 400 x 400 resolution, running Android Wear and it is one I look forward to hearing more about.

OnePlus are at it again. The flagship killer is back with the OnePlus 3: by far the best phone this year. Of course I only talk by what’s on paper. The OnePlus 3 boasts hardware like no other.
I recently purchased the OnePlus 2. I have never held a phone like it. A phone so well designed. A phone that has everything. I thought to myself, how can they make this better? Not only did they manage to do so, but this phone will still be the best going into 2017.
