Microsoft have teased their new console coming at the end of 2017. Project Scorpio will run on Windows 10 and have backwards capabilities to both Xbox One and Xbox One S.
It will have an 8 core processor and a graphics card with a huge 6TFLOP’s of power. That is 4x more than the current Xbox One that has 1.3 and the PS4 that has 1.9.
What does this mean?
This new graphics card will perform as good as the high-end cards today giving 4K, 60 frames-per-second gaming.
The console can also handle VR. When announced, Fallout 4 VR was also mentioned. 4k is now the standard and Project Scorpio will meet that standard. It will also include HDR, which is also in the new Xbox One S (which is available in August).
