With Black Friday on the way, I thought I would give you a look into the Android Wear watch i have my eyes on – the Huawei Watch.
Huawei have gone for a premium design with their 44mm watch having a stainless steel body and sapphire glass. The screen is 1.4 a inch AMOLED display with one of the highest pixel density. With a resolution of 400 x 400 (286ppi), text and images on the watch will be crystal clear.
On the inside, it is all the same as most other Android Wear smart watches. 1.2GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 (Octa-Core), 512MB RAM, 4GB storage and 300mAh battery. The watch will last for around 1.5 days. The battery is much smaller than the one on my LG G Watch R, which is ove 400mAh and lasts 2 days. With Huawei’s AMOLED display I believe I may just be able to push this close to 2 days.
The watch comes in either gold or silver, with either a leather or stainless steel band.
Thy downside of this watch is the lack of built-in GPS and a constant heart rate monitoring. You have to manually activate the heart rate. It would of been great to see a bigger battery, but as i am used to charging my watch every other night, it’s not too much of an issue.
