OnePlus is hailed as the flagship killer. With it’s high end specs and mid ranged pricing, OnePlus has become increasingly popular.
The OnePlus One was released in April 2014 for under £200, and was in the spotlight very quickly and it’s specs are high end despite the low cost. With its 5.5 inch (1080×1920) screen, 3GB RAM, 2.5GHz Quad-core (Snapdragon 801) processor, 13MP rear and 5MP front camera and a large 3100mAh battery, this really is the flagship killer.
In July 2015 OnePlus unveiled the OnePlus 2. Again keeping up with the latest technologies OnePlus packed this full of high-end hardware, with it coming with 3GB or 4GB options, the Octa-core snapdragon 810 and USB type C, this is the phone of the future. One that should worry the likes of Samsung, Apple and HTC.
Wileyfox, a UK based manufacturer, has come up with 2 of its own phones. The First of these phones is £129 and is the Wileyfox Swift. It’s not as high-end as OnePlus, but it does support 4G LTE with dual-SIM, 720p 5 inch display 13MP rear camera, 5MP front camera, 2GB RAM, Snapdragon 410 processor, and 16GB internal storage.
The higher end phone is the Wileyfox Storm. At £199, the Storm is a 5.5 inch 1080p screen, 3GB RAM, Snapdragon 615 processor and has a 20MP rear camera with a 8MP front camera. It also comes with 32GB internal storage. Both allow for expandable storage, with the Swift allowing up to 32GB and the Storm allowing up to 128GB and both run CyanogenOS.
Pre-registrations are starting this week with the phones available in October.
