Microsoft are lining up 2 high end Windows phones, reportedly with Quad HD screens, 3GB RAM, 20MP rear camera and a 5MP front. There will be a 5.2 inch screen with a Snapdragon 808 (six-core) or a 5.7 with the Snapdragon 810 (eight-core).
Microsoft’s phone are mainly low – mid-range. Not giving the devoted Windows Phone owners something special.
The Nokia Lumia 930 was the last high end phone and boasted decent specs. The 5 inch AMOLED display was beautiful, and the 20MP camera was great. It held a Snapdragon 800. That’s a quad-core 2.2GHz processor. The only downside for me personally, was the basic 1.2MP front camera.
The phone as a whole is pleasing on the eye. A fantastic design with good specs. Now behind due to the new flagships from LG and Samsung.
The two new phones to be released by Microsoft will be high end phones, going by the reported specs. Both running Windows 10 and both be a good upgrade from the 930 (that will also get an update to Windows 10).
